I have been doing a lot of research lately on the types of every day household items I usually purchase in my home. To my amazement many of the products I use are very harmful to my health and my childrens.
For instance over 90% of your household cleaners contain, bleaches, ammonia,  formaldehyde (is known to be a cancer causing toxin), and many of the aerosols are the worst culprits. I never took the time to really think about how harmful these products can be to my health. There has been many occasions that I have used a cleaning product that's fumes were so strong I literally have tied towels around my face to keep from breathing in the chemicals. I have had to open my windows and circulate the air inside my home ( or let it air out ) . Most people today are under the influence " If it don't stink it wont clean " and why ? because they do not think it is strong enough. Truth is, it's not about the chemicals it's about the additives in the cleaners.  If you think about it I am sure you have experienced the same problems with many cleaners before. There are safer alternatives.


Annually, 5-10 million household poisonings are reported, many which are fatal involving children!
The 'Consumer Product Safety Commission' has determined that cleaning products contain some of the most dangerous substances in the home. Additionally 'poisoning' occurs over an extended period of time without identifiable signs or indications.

The main manual, Workplace Hazardous Materials Identification System (WHMIS), contains Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). As a Mom we should always do research on products we bring into our home and expose our loved ones to.You may be surprised at how dangerous some products are that you use,  in your home on a regular basis.The government acknowledges that these cleaning products are hazardous, but regulation only requires labels to indicate if they are: combustible, corrosive, poison, caution, etc. It is amazing to me that  manufacturers  are able to get away with marketing products that are slowly killing the human race just to make a quick buck ! It is also amazing that so many are un aware that many illnesses occur simply because of what we expose ourselves to on a daily basis.  Thus making corporate America richer if you really think about it,  they all work together. I for one have chosen to GO GREEN
Not only for my health but for my loved ones as well.
It is time for a switch and to really be aware of cause and effects when we expose ourselves to harmful products. So in short, Why Go Green ?

With the increase in the day to day cost of living, many duel pay families are finding it difficult to make ends meat. Between the fee of gas, daycare, and mortgage expenditure, most households are stretching their budgets to the limit. In some households the daycare fee takes up 50% of the household financial plan. This is particularly right, if you have more than one kid in daycare. This is one of the main reasons why more and more moms are staying home. Working from home enables you to write off a portion of your bills as a tax shelter. These last two items will definitely please your husband.

Being a work at home mom enables you to be your own boss. You are in charge of your own destiny. You can work as much as you want and make as much money as you are determined to make. You can create a stress free Environment. Working from home has a way of keeping you sane. When you are pleased so, is the rest of your family.
